Agribusiness (Also known as agro-business) is the business of agricultural production. It includes crop production (farming and contract farming), seed supply, agrichemicals, farm machinery, distribution, processing, marketing, and retail sales.
The city of Malang is quite well-known as one of Tourist destination and center of agribusiness industry, specifically for apple products.  A few examples of Agribusiness in Malang are: an Apple farm, an Apple chips industry, and a rice farm.
Agribusiness works really well in Malang as the city supports agribusiness. The soil in Malang is really good for the production of crops, livestock, etc. Malang also has big lands available for farming.
A lot of people have wondered how apples can grow I Malang. This mystery has pulled a lot of people (tourists and others) to come to Malang to see how it works, also to taste it directly. Apples are horticultural plants. Horticultural plants are plants which grow in four seasons countries. Malang is one of the first cities that have been planting apples in Indonesia. In Indonesia apples grow well when they are planted over 1200 meters above the sea level. To successfully plant apples we must manipulate the surroundings.
Agribusiness greatly raises Malang’s economy. Not just having the supported soil and land, Malang also has a lot of tourists coming here which made Malang very famous for its agricultural products. This helps the level of economy of people on certain area. Those people who live in the outer part of Malang gain a lot of money income from agribusiness.
Apple farms, apple chip industries, strawberry farms, and a lot more has been the tourist attractions since a long time ago. These tourists help the economy of those people who do agriculture. Farmers don’t get very much money compared to those who work in the center of Malang, even though the farmers may work harder than the workers in central Malang. That is why more economy support is needed for those who do agricultural and agribusiness in outer Malang.
